So sad.
And while I know we all live to die someday,
the high profile deaths of icons we used to
watch, listen to their music, etc...always brings
back memories, of another time in my life.

Betty, you make a good observation. I can't say I am a Michael Jackson fan, but I did have his albums and like a lot of his music at one time, it does bring back memories of a time long ago. I do have to say, I was a Charlie's Angels fan as a kid, too. To this day I would like my hair to look like Farah's did!

I second your comment on the "fan" issue. For me, growing up and liking the music of Michael and his brothers were one thing but then it started to get strange and I was like WTH?
I loved watching Charlie's Angels as a kid also and I remember thinking how beautiful Farrah was, the smile, the hair everything. Such a sad demise for a beautiful soul.
Ah Poor Farah she was upstaged by The White Lady..... Well I'm not into Micheal but he was a big part of my musical childhood. Hes on the front of my we are the world sheet music and he backs so many memories.
You are right. Two big icons of my youth are gone and both at fairly young ages. I had a scrapbook of Farrah. I would cut her pictures out of magazines and made a book. Michael Jackson was an amazing talent. I don't necessarily condone some of his actions later in life, but I think there is lot in his early years that explains some of the bizarre behavior. I don't think he ever got to be a kid. I think he was a very lonely person. After watching some documentaries/specials about him last night, I feel like his death is the first time he found peace.
