that they are coming to Opryland Hotel
for a Convention, Sept. 11-12. Looks like
these dates were recently added to their
schedule. Works for me.
I'm definitely planning on going. Deb H.
forwarded her email to the group, so
hopefully we can all get together for a
road trip.

I had a blast at CKC Louisville with Michelle H, her mom, Janet and Vicki. There were still classes I wanted but ran out of time and money, so I am so in for this! The Button Farm is teaching here! I was bummed I was going to miss them in Buffalo, but can catch them in Nashville, woo hoo!

Me too, looking forward to it. Terri and I went a few years ago when CKC was downtown Nashville and had a great time. I'm probably going to ahead and book a room for Friday night at one of the other hotels in the vicinity - don't plan on driving home after the late night crop.
I went to CKC Nashville when it was downtown a couple of years ago too. How did we miss each other? I rented a room by myself across the river and took a cab to the convention center!
I looked at classes, could either go Friday morning and stay for the day, or could go Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon and make the Mike's/ Jo stops on the way back home, which sounds like more fun.
Michelle H is talking about getting a room at Opryland with her DH and kids and making a weekend out of it.

I want to go!! Deb W
Go, Deb, go! Write it on your calendar, take a day off, go to CKC with your buds!

Actually Deb H., my mistake, Terri and I went several years ago and it was actually the Simply Southern Convention at the Convention Hall downtown. We stayed at the Sheraton. My brain is aging way too quickly.....
Betty - you and I went one year. I have no idea what year, but I know we went together. We got there, ate at Cracker Barrel, did the show, and then hit Scrap Etc (was that what it was called) and Scrappucino as well.
I am definitely interested. Don't think I will have a lot of extra money to spend (between my antique shopping, eye doctor, and dentist appointments), but I would still like to go "look." I will make time today to look at their schedule and my work schedule and see if it will all work out!
Have a great Sunday!
See what I mean.....My memory bank is faltering....Yep, Lisa we sure did. I remember now the visit to Scrap Etc., and the shopping...
I'm glad it's still several months away - so I can start saving those pennies!
