A few Christmas Crop pics and

an early farewell to 2009! Melissa & Michelle H. so glad

you both were able to join us. Thanks everyone and Angie
a big thank you to you as well for your surprise recipe page,
tags and stamped images. Lately, I've had the lyrics of a
recent Kris Allen song in my head and can't seem to shake
them. I've posted an excerpt:

"We gotta start looking at the hands of the time we've been
given..........If this is all we got, then we gotta start thinking.
If every second counts on a clock that is ticking....gotta live
like we're dying."
This should keep me in check to not sweat the "small" stuff,
after all - that's all it really and truly is........

Dad finally got to go

home yesterday - after 45 days...........
and on Veteran's Day which made it
even better for this Army Veteran.

He still has to do PT on an outpatient
basis, and his wrist still has to be set -
but there is truly nothing like being
home. He gets around OK, but his speech
is still not fully recovered after spending
two weeks on the Ventilator. But it will
get there.

Jeremy is doing OK as well. He also is
doing PT on an outpatient basis and we
know he will get stronger with each new
day.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this
weekend!!! It's been a long time.......

Just want to let everyone know

that barring any unforseen events
(unfortunately, I can't predict the future)
that I do plan on keeping the cropping dates
set for Nov. and Dec. at the Clubhouse.

Angie - we're going to miss you at
the Crop parties!!!!!!

Jeremy is progressing well at SKY and
hopefully may get to go home sometime
this week. My Dad continues to get
stronger and should also be going home
either the end of the week or very soon
thereafter.

Thanks again everyone for your thoughts
and prayers...........

I can't believe it's been

a week since I last updated......

Jeremy will be leaving Cleveland Clinic
today enroute to BG for his admittance
to SKY, for PT. He still has a long way to go
but each day will bring him the strength he
needs to get better. I know they can't wait
to get home and hug precious Mallory!!!

Dad is scheduled to be transferred to Warm
Springs Rehab. Clinic today for his PT.
A great rehab facility founded by President
Roosevelt which happens to be right down the
road from Mom & Dad. So glad to hear he is
getting stronger and hopefully he'll be home
soon.

Tristan has recovered from the Chicken Pox - thank
goodness it was a mild case and it was gone within
a few days. It seems I've heard the younger they
are when they get it the milder the case is. That sure
seemed to work in Tristan's favor.........

Hope things are going well for everyone. It's been a
long time since we've gotten together. Looking forward
to scrappin in Nov. and Dec.!!!

It seems the only

time I'm jumping on here to update my blog
is to post updates that are affecting my family
members. Unfortunately, that is our life right
now and I long for the days when we can return
to normalcy.

Bill and I headed to Georgia on Friday to see
Dad. He is getting better and stronger as he
enters his 4th week of hospital residence. On Sat.
we got a 3:00 a.m. call from Amber that Jeremy
was being admitted to the ICU. It appears his
aggresive muscle disease (Myositis) was constricting
his throat causing choking, etc. We left Georgia
on Sat. afternoon and headed home.

After much red tape, insurance calls, etc., Jeremy
was accepted as a patient to the Cleveland Clinic.
He left by ambulance last night with Amber and
Jeremy's Dad following close behind. They arrived this
morning and we hope and pray the Specialists at
the CC can give him the treatment to help him fight this
disease.

Thank you again everyone for your calls, prayers, etc.,
they mean alot and I'm truly thankful!!!
