It's been one crazy week....

trying to tie up loose ends at work - a week
earlier than we normally shut down. The days
are long and they start very very early........
But I do love what I do everyday and I'm
thankful for it.

However, I have managed to stay up late
and play a little..... Recipe pages are almost
done, tags are at least cut out and it's going
to be a baking marathon at my house late
Thursday night.

Can I just say I am really looking forward to
the weekend!!!!!!

real quick to let you all know - I just spoke with Jennifer Raffaelli, who coordinates the Cancer Crop each year and the date has been finalized for February 7, 2009. Cost and location are the same as last year. Time is set for 8:30-8.

Will update soon with upcoming clubhouse dates.

caught a yucky bug...... My computer
time will be sporadic. Will get an email
out with final details, etc on Dec. crop within
the next day or so.

only in America can grown adults witness the
birth of a Cabbage Patch baby at 10 leaves
dilation.

This place was so cute and set up with
Dr's, nurses, incubators, nursery, etc. It brought
back memories of the doll's release in 1983.
Christina was only 10 months old that Christmas and
I waited in line for many hours to finally get my hands
on one of those dolls.....

Cottages are reserved!

Total cost per night per cabin is $93.65 this does
include tax. Total amount billed to my CC $187.30,
for the first night reservation. Nine of us are
committed so that breaks down to $20.81 per
person per night.........

I emailed Michelle H my address and for
everyone else I'll meet up with you sometime
next week, or the week after, etc.

Just a suggestion - but how about we work out
the other logistics (food, etc) at a later time.
We can discuss at Card Class or in Dec. at our
Christmas crop.

our crop in December? Which, by the way is
just 4 months from now... I know we all get busy
this time of year, but I thought it would be
fun if everyone made a different treat and we
exchanged, etc. Allows us to have different
goodies to enjoy. Just something to think about
and we can discuss at our next crop.

Weekend Highlights.....

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I wanted to head out to Georgia for a couple of days, but ended up staying home. So, Bill and I took a quick trip down to OpryMills and the Hotel. We caught a glimpse of the North American Irish Dance Championships and those kids were awesome. The costumes (priced at well over $1,500 used), makeup and hair pieces were just beautiful. The choreography and dance steps were point on everytime. Very impressive!!

NEW

goodies at HL. There were 5 different word books, Love, Family, Believe, Baby and Friend

to choose from. I also spotted a new ATG gun, the shelf tags for the Bind It All, which should be in soon and new Cricut cartridges are on the way. A couple mentioned were Camping, Baseball, etc. The posted goodies were purchased at 1/2 off since they are albums.

Finally....

Scrapbook Weekend has arrived!!! Good thing, I've got tons of projects I need to work on. I just need to get better organized so I can plan out layouts, etc.

I've been off most of the week and while I had good intentions to work on these things, I just didn't get around to it. My time was much better spent with the grandchildren. Priceless.

After pondering whether to blog or not for quite some time - I've finally taken the plunge. I hesitated due to the fact that my life as a wife, granny of 5, scrapbooker and a full-time member of the working class might hinder my abilities.......to be a regular blogger. So, I'm going to give it a try and we'll see how it turns out.
